Grove Behavioral Services is seeking an experienced BCBA® ready to step into a leadership role as our next Clinical Director.

As a member of the Grove Leadership Team, the Clinical Director plays a central role in shaping the quality and direction of behavioral services across all of our therapy settings. This position combines clinical leadership, staff development, client care, operational oversight, and community connection.
We are looking for a collaborative and highly motivated BCBA® who is ready to choose growth and help others do the same.
The Opportunity:
The Clinical Director is a full-time in-person leadership position.
This is a role for someone who wants to do more than manage cases. You will help develop people, strengthen systems, support families, build community relationships, and guide the continued growth of Grove's clinical services.
You will have the support of Grove's Leadership Team, operational staff, and administrative team as you lead our clinical programs.
Compensation & Growth:
- $85,000-$95,000 annual salary, based on experience.
- Regular opportunities for professional growth and compensation increases.
- Minimal billable requirements based on program needs.
- Approximately 10 billable hours per week, depending on clinical growth and intake needs.
- Laptop and necessary technology provided.
- Dedicated operational and administrative support for scheduling, billing, facility needs, and other program support.

- An active BCBA® with approximately 2-4 years of experience in traditional case management and clinical supervision.

Your Impact at Grove:
As Clinical Director, you'll have the opportunity to influence nearly every part of the clinical experience.
Lead & Develop the Team:
You will provide leadership for Grove's clinical, direct-care, and support staff at one location.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in staff hiring and interviews.
- Facilitating new employee onboarding.
- Managing staff leave requests and related needs.
- Ensuring clinical staff receive appropriate support and training consistent with Grove's mission and vision.
- Conducting staff performance evaluations.
- Mentoring newly certified BCBAs and staff pursuing BCBA certification.
- Creating and implementing employee growth and development plans.
- Implementing appropriate corrective measures when needed.
- Maintaining oversight of staff credentials and certifications.
- Establishing clear, consistent communication throughout the organization.
Guide Clinical Services:
You will provide clinical leadership across Grove's therapy settings while maintaining a direct connection with clients and families.
This includes:
- Overseeing behavioral interventions across therapy settings.
- Providing behavior analytic consultation.
- Managing the clinical needs of current clients.
- Managing the prospective client waitlist.
- Onboarding new clients into services.
- Conducting functional behavior assessments.
- Developing initial treatment plans.
- Completing initial intake, assessment, and treatment planning before transitioning ongoing case management to a Supervising BCBA.
- Scheduling appropriate supervision and program modifications for your caseload.
- Maintaining clinical context and rapport with clients and families across Grove's programs.
The Clinical Director's initial involvement with new cases allows you to develop an understanding of each client's needs and establish relationships with families before transitioning ongoing services to the appropriate Supervising BCBA.
Support the Business & Operations:
Clinical leadership doesn't happen in a vacuum. You'll work closely with Grove's operational and administrative teams to make sure our systems support excellent care.
You will:
- Coordinate therapy schedules with the operations support staff.
- Manage the use of designated client and staff databases.
- Ensure appropriate management of clinical budgets.
- Oversee clinical facility and supply needs.
- Collaborate with operational and administrative staff to address program needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and resources.
- Support organizational growth and sustainability.
Build Connections:
At Grove, relationships extend beyond the therapy space.
The Clinical Director will:
- Build meaningful connections between Grove, clients, families, stakeholders, and the broader community.
- Support coordination of care with other professionals and community partners.
- Represent Grove's mission and values within the community.
- Help strengthen a culture of collaboration and belonging.
Lead Through Communication:
You'll be an active participant in Grove's leadership team and organizational communication.
Responsibilities include:
- Attending regular leadership and organizational meetings.
- Leading staff training.
- Developing meeting agendas.
- Communicating important information clearly and consistently.
- Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Clinical Operations.
